After doing a year of research on choosing the right self publishing company I chose Axel Author Services. Alexa made the process so simple and also fun and exciting. I never had a stressful moment with this process. I love the fact too, that even though we have completed my project Animals in the Clouds, Alexa is there to answer questions. Working with Alexa has been a phenomenal experience! As a first-time author, I am learning as I go- how to tell a story for a mass market audience, developing a consistent writing style, discerning what content to include and exclude, how the publishing process works, etc.- and Alexa has been very patient and available to answer questions and explain things to me in plain, simple terms I can understand. She is also very relatable, so I feel like I'm hanging out with a good friend when we Zoom. Highly recommend!

I was looking for a one-stop shop to help coordinate the diverse aspects of publishing, including: proofreading, cover art, layout, design, etcetera. I interviewed 5 such agencies. All were similar in terms of pricing and services, but Aaxel was the only one that made a point to ask me how long I'd been working on writing and particularly on revision. Aaxel made me feel like they cared about the quality of my book and not just snaring me as a client.And that was the experience I got.
